I'm a practical guy who likes building and maintaining things, be they virtual or tangible. I am very much a, it can be done, I can do it and I will work it out, kind of guy.

In the virtual world I started off coding in Cobol and administering Digital Vax & Alpha VMS Mainframes. That path lead to enjoying opportunities in Information Technology, to Administer Servers, Databases, Networks and coding in PHP with various supporting frameworks, Laravel for instance (which I used for this website).

In the tangible world I purchased and restored a 1954 Ford Pickup when I was 14 (took a few years to restore). That lead me to hobby of working on old cars throughout my life. Sports & Vintage cars, Traditonal Styled Hot Rods and Kustom Cars. I like to do everything myself, with that thought process, I purchased a welder and learned to weld, purchased an Industrial Sewing machine and reupholstered my interiors. You get the drift!

I enjoy spending time with my children and travelling. There is just so much to see in the world and in each country. In the case of my children, I try to take them to a different National Park each summer. I have resided in Kanas for about 20 years now and have relaxed into what it has to offer.

During Summer, I like get out on my bicycle as much as I can. I prefer to ride gravel roads south of where I live in Kansas and on the various bike paths and trails like the Flint Hills, Prairie Spirit and over on the other side of the State line on the Katie and Rock Island trail networks.
